Radiance International School believes in a holistic approach, which implies moving beyond Academics. We prepare students for the new and emerging challenges of the 21st century. Life at Radiance International School includes just about everything that you do during your years as a student from academics to sports, from drama to travel. Each child is encouraged to take part in co-curricular activities, enabling him to spread his/her wings wider. We offer a diverse range of activities, from experiential learning programs to numerous athletics endeavors, arts experiences, and student activities and clubs.
Educational Trips & Excursions
Stemming from the strong belief that the purpose of education is to prepare children for life and equip them with attitude and skills to be in perfect rhythm with nature and society, Radiance International School offer a plethora of opportunities and exposure to students to explore their surroundings and beyond.
All students of the Radiance International family are encouraged to participate in events, excursions, and exchanges within the country and abroad. These programmed help in enriching a student’s mind, widen their perspective, acquire social skills,
adaptability, leadership, and self-reliance. Students are exposed to the diversity that prevails in our country as well as oversees. Field Trips, Expeditions, and Student Exchange programs are encouraged to help students experience a wide range of cultural, educational and linguistic diversities besides imbibing life skills and universal values that root them to the ground. Hospitality and valuing each other and their culture is effectively and naturally imbibed in each child through these excursions.
Creative Arts
Comprehensive arts education introduces students to a culturally rich world. A visual arts curriculum provides opportunities for students to explore, express and experiment with ideas through drawing, paint, music, dance, storytelling, creative writing. The creative skills building children develop through the arts instills in them habits that they will carry them forward towards new ideas, new experiences, and challenges as well as will be personally rewarding. Every child is born with a creative potential and that needs to be nurtured and stimulated. Arts should be a dynamic channel to foster a child’s creativity.
Music and Dance
Radiance International School provides training in a variety of disciplines in music and dance giving the children the freedom to choose and express themselves. From Indian Classical – Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Indian folk to Western Dance and Fusion is encouraged, Musical instruments include drums, tabla, pakhwaj, congo, dholak, naal, bongo, guitar, sitar, violin, santoor, sarod, xylophone, harmonium and casio synthesizer. In vocal there are Western, Hindustani classical and light fusion to choose from. The schools choose a dedicated and gifted team of facilitators to
ignite and sustain the creative spark in the students. The universal language of music and dance forms helps students from across communities to bond and provides the perfect nutrient for the mind, body and soul.
Sports
We believe that a ‘Sound mind resides in a healthy body’. At Radiance International School, Academic learning and sports education complement each other as sports teaches the child, life-skills like teamwork, sportsmanship, esprit de corps and the critical skill of balancing both success and failure positively.
Radiance International School believes that physical education not only helps enhance overall health and motor skills but also helps and sharpens students learning ability. Respect, sportsmanship and fair-play are the foundation of our physical education programmed. At Radiance International School, these skills are being inculcated through sports like cricket, basketball and badminton facilities are also available in most of our schools.
